Am I violent?
If someone came up to one and asked, in all seriousness, “Are you a violent
person?” What would one respond? Most of us would immediately say, “Of course
not!” Wouldn't we? Just the idea that someone would think that i am violent
would disturb me immensely. (make me violent?)
If someone would come up to one and ask “Are you, at times, impatient?” or “Are
you, at times, angry? or “Are you, at times, frustrated?” What would my
response be then? To questions such as these, one would probably not say “Of
course not.” One might also add that being impatient, or being frustrated, or
being angry, is all a part of life. One might also add that; “If it wasn't for
such-and-such circumstances, I would never be angry, or frustrated, or
impatient. If it wasn't for the fact that my neighbor is always doing something
that offends me i wouldn't be angry at him. If my children would do what i tell
them to do i would not be frustrated with them. If the tram would always be on
time, i would not be impatient.”
If someone would then ask us “Aren't anger, impatience, frustration all a form
of violence?” What would i say to that?

Help

I would'nt be able to consider violense somthing so controllable, the Lord Himself turned Heads with his act of Rage.My self I hear the Lord say,I am loved, even tho,my mercy is greater then your problem,My love is stonger. The anger can't stand this Love. I dont want this anger anymore.
I would'nt be able to consider violense somthing so controllable
…and neither would i. :)
control is just another 'form' of violence, isn't it?
something is so-and-so and to control it i will do this-and-that.
the this-and-that i do goes up against the so-and-so and there one has conflict.
so, in effect, one is back to where one was originally. :)
love has nothing to do with what i want and what i don't want.
when 'what i want' and 'what i don't want' exist, love doesn't.
love is the absense of anger.
as such, love is a state of being.
in the understanding of; 'i am anger' and not that 'i am angry' love may come into being. :)
thanx for your post. :)
